Spatiotemporal Coupling Analysis of Population Contraction and Urban Infrastructure Expansion in Industrial Transfer Zones
Since 2010,the country has successively carried out the construction of industrial transfer demonstration areas in Hunan,Guan-gxi and Jiangxi provinces. The urban infrastructure construction in the industrial transfer area has accelerated year by year,However, compared with the national average, the population growth has shrunk as a whole.Based on the population data of the five, six and seven population cen-ters in 108 counties and cities in the industrial transfer demonstration area, combined with the urban infrastructure expansion data during the policy implementation period, this paper analyzes the spatial distribution characteristics of population contraction and urban expansion in the demonstration area through the local spatial autocorrelation model(Local Moran'I),and establishes a coupling function to measure the coor-dination of urban infrastructure construction expansion and population change. The analysis shows that:①The overall population situation in the study area tends to be tightened, and the outflow trend of population in the county region intensifies. However, significant population influx has occurred in the municipal districts and some counties with good industrial development foundation, and the regional population centraliza-tion has intensified.②The expansion speed of urban infrastructure is obviously faster than the growth rate of population, and has obvious stage differentiation in the growth characteristics.③On the whole, the spatial differentiation of the coupling coordination between population contrac-tion and urban infrastructure expansion in the counties in the study area is significant,in which 84%of the counties are out of balance, and the distribution is relatively centralized, with obvious aggregation effect.
