Application of Four-parameter Logistic Model in Settlement Calculation of Soft Soil Foundation
The foundation settlement is an important index to reflect the safety of engineering(such as buildings,highways and rail-ways),and is also a hot research topic in the field of geotechnical engineering.In order to further deepen the understanding of the development law of the settlement of soft soil foundation and improve the accuracy of the settlement prediction,the four-parameter logistic model is used to simulate the prediction of the settlement-time curve of soft soil foundation,and a comparative study based on instance calculation results is made with the three-parameter Logistic model,Gompertz model and hyperbolic model prediction method commonly used in the prediction method of foundation settlement.The calculation and analysis shows that the four-parameter logistic model is suitable as the description of the settlement development law of soft soil foundation,and has higher accuracy than the three-parameter Logistic model in settlement prediction.Compared with the Gompertz model and hyperbolic model,four-parameter Logistic model has better effect in predicting the development trend of late settlement.The four-parameter Logistic model is reliable and practical in the application of settlement calculation of soft soil founda-tion,and has the value of popularization and application.
