Agricultural insurance provides important guarantees for agricultural production activities and is an indispensable component of modern agricultural economic development.Traditional agricultural insurance service model is difficult to verify the subject matter and assess disaster losses,and lack of monitoring methods for agricultural production situation.In response to these issues,this article realizes the transfor-mation of rice insurance from"insured by person"to"insured by location"based on technologies such as mobile GIS and WebGIS,which provides a strong basis for claims services.Remote sensing is also used to monitor rice growth trend and assess disaster losses.It is conducive to the high-quality and sustainable development of agricultural insurance,and promotes the development of modern rural economy.
