In the construction of new fundamental surveying and mapping and 3D real scene China,surveying and mapping geographical information archives are indispensable.Digitization of surveying and mapping geographical information archives is the source of surveying and mapping archive information,which has surpassed simple archive organization and information preservation.Now it become an important part of new fundamental surveying and mapping construction.Combines the needs to accelerate the construction of new fundamental surveying and mapping system,this article proposes a new understanding of the digitization of surveying and mapping geographical information archives,pro-vides new ideas,and carries out practice.The construction plan will help improve the service capacity of the digitization of surveying and map-ping geographical information archives.
