An Underground Pipeline Trajectory Collision Detection Method Based on the Projection Transformation Algorithm of the Common Perpendicular Direction
To avoid collision during the construction of underground pipelines,a collision detection method for underground pipeline trajec-tories based on the projection transformation algorithm of the common perpendicular direction is proposed. After collecting data from underground pipeline measurement points using an infrared laser rangefinder, the coordinates of the underground pipeline measurement points are converted into a right-hand coordinate system. The parallel projection transformation method is used to determine whether the axis of the underground pipe-line trajectory is parallel. If it is not parallel,it indicates that the two underground pipeline trajectories are colliding. If it is parallel, the common perpendicular coordinate system is redefined based on the underground pipeline trajectory, the trajectory of an underground pipeline is treated as a cylinder to construct an elliptical equation, and then the minimum distance from a point to an ellipse and a point to a rectangle is calculated through a projection transformation in the direction of the common perpendicular.By judging the relationship between the two minimum distances and the intersection point of the common perpendicular of the axis of the ellipse, the collision result of the trajectory is obtained when the axis of the underground pipeline is not parallel. The experiment shows that this method has good coordinate conversion ability and can detect collision results of underground pipeline trajectories in different situations, and the detection results are relatively accurate.
