Based on a thorough analysis on the similarities and differences between Guangzhou topographic map schema and national top-ographic map schema,as well as the data disparities between EPS platform and CASS platform,this work successfully achieves efficient and lossless conversion of Guangzhou schema EPS*edb data to national schema CASS*dwg data under the EPS platform via employing technol-ogies like the secondary development of EPS platform and template customization.Extensive production practice proves that this conversion method model enables the rapid and accurate conversion of 1:500 large-scale topographic maps from Guangzhou schema to the national schema.This proposed data conversion techniques with high practical and popularization value in this work not only enable enhance the pro-duction efficiency and utilization rate of data sharing,but also ensure the quality of data conversion.
