Accompanied by the development of intellect surveying technology,3D achievements in urban surveying have been produced in large quantities,and it is urgent to solve the problem of long-term preservation and utilization.Based on existing archival appraisal theories and data characteristics of urban surveying 3D achievements,this study tries to construct archival value appraisal indicators and conducts ar-chival value appraisal practices,formed archive appraisal results,providing guidance for the definition of 3D achievements archive scope.
