Video transmission control method for railway 5G-R broadband trunking communication
Video service is a typical new service of 5G-R broadband trunking communication (BTC),and the video transmission control (VTC) method directly affects the application and efficiency of this service. Since the VTC method of standard 3GPP MCVideo was not completely suitable for BTC,a comprehensive VTC model and method were proposed based on railway application requirements and MCVideo standards. Firstly, according to the principle of decoupling service and the mobile communication network, separating signaling and data, and facilitating function expansion, the MCVideo system architecture of 5G-R BTC was designed. Secondly, the VTC model was established based on the 5G-R BTC video service requirements and MCVideo standards, while exploring the model control process and performance evaluation. Then, the VTC methods were provided through user video transmission permission policies,multi-channel video receiving and processing strategies,multi-system video transmission control, user identity identification, etc. Finally,a full physical platform and equipment were built under 5G-R laboratory conditions for experimental verification. The research results are shown as follows. Compared with B-TrunC homological video group call, conference video control, standard 3GPP MCVideo and other methods, the model method has significant advantages in meeting the needs of railway application. The feasibility of the proposed method is verified by the full physical platform, which can realize the VTC of railway cluster scheduling. In terms of performance, the proposed VTC method has a delay of about 65ms in 95% of cases. The proposed method can realize a more flexible VTC that closely integrates with railway demand while utilizing network bandwidth reasonably, greatly meeting the requirements of railway trunking and dispatching communication applications, and improving command and communication efficiency.
