Identification of key stakeholders and social stability risk factors for large-scale engineering projects based on SNA
Large-scale engineering projects are closely related to the national economy and people's livelihood and have far-reaching influence. Under the influence of multiple factors, they are easy to cause social stability risks and even cause deeper social crisis. In order to identify key stakeholders and social stability risk factors for large-scale engineering projects,it is imperative to actively carry out research on social stability risks of large-scale engineering projects. Firstly,61 large-scale engineering projects were collected for social stability risk events. Then,a "stakeholder social stability risk factor" 2-mode network was obtained through co-occurrence method. The data was imported into Netdraw software to form a visualized stakeholder social stability risk factor Abstract:Large-scale engineering projects are closely related to the national economy and people's livelihood and have far-reaching influence. The data was imported into Netdraw software to form a visualized stakeholder social stability risk factor relationship network diagram. The degree centrality of the 2-mode network was calculated using social network analysis software Ucinet. Finally, the 2-mode network was transformed into two 1-mode networks (stakeholder relationship network/social stability risk factor relationship network) to identify key stakeholders and social stability risk factors for large-scale engineering projects. The findings of the study are drawn as follows. The overall density of the "stakeholder-social stability risk" 2-mode network is high. The social stability risk factors and stakeholders in large-scale engineering projects are closely related. The relationship between S6 government departments-R2 environmental safety risks and S8 local residents-R2 environmental safety risks is a key concern. Key stakeholders in the social stability risk of large-scale engineering projects are owners, contractors, government departments, local residents, and online media. Key social stability risk factors are environmental safety risks, inadequate disclosure of decision-making information, inadequate public participation, inappropriate response, and public opinion. The research results can provide a new perspective for the study of social stability risk of large-scale engineering projects, help to improve the risk cognition level of large-scale engineering project managers, and provide a theoretical basis for managers' decision-making.
