5G/B5G Heterogeneous Networks Handover Process Analysis and Mobility Management Solutions
Effective mobility management is critical to ensure the expected QoS and QoE of 5G Heterogeneous Network ( HetNet ). Handover process plays an important role in mobility management. Faults in this process may adversely affect the reliability, stability and connectivity of 5G communication networks. The handover process of 5G HetNet is analyzed, including the steps of 5G handover process, the three-layer handover of 5G HetNet, and the key handover parameters of 5G HetNet. In addition,for specific problems such as ultra-high speed, load balancing and inter-cell interference, the main solutions of mobility management of 5G HetNet are summarized,and a new mobility management method for 5G/B5G HetNet is proposed.
