The online learning ability scale of higher vocational students is compiled from five dimensions:driving force, adaptive force, response force, adjustment force and reciprocity force, and the current situation of online learning ability of higher vocational students is investigated and analyzed by questionnaire. The results show that the overall level of online learning ability of higher vocational students is above medium, but the internal structure is unbalanced,in which reciprocity force is the dominant factor, driving force and adaptive force are the inferior factors. There are significant differences in higher vocational students'online learning ability in gender, grade and major.Among them, female students have higher learning motivation and interest, while male students have stronger learning adjustment ability, freshman students have stronger driving force, students in major categories such as finance and commerce have stronger adaptive force.Under the background of new quality productive forces,we should enhance the driving force and adaptive force of online learning subjects, explore new models of online teaching, build high-quality online learning platforms, and optimize online learning resources to improve the online learning ability of vocational college students.
