Taking higher vocational English courses as the carrier to cultivate socialist values of friendship among college students,we can try to construct a three-in-one mode of ideological and political education from the three dimensions of study,life and employment.In terms of study dimension,we should enrich the course chapters related to content of friendship values,enrich the content types related to the cognition of friendship values,reconstruct the teaching mode related to the education of friendship values,and deepen students'friendship cognition with the teaching content containing friendship values.In terms of life dimension,we should design friendship-themed English practice projects,organize friendship-themed cultural education activities in both Chinese and English,create friendship-themed international network culture works,and carry out friendship-themed education activities to promote the formation of students'values of friendship.In terms of employment dimension,we should rely on the theme category of"occupation and individual"in higher vocational English to explain the content of vocational norms and cultivate students'consciousness of"being kind to oneself",use the theme category of"occupation and society"in higher vocational English to elaborate the content of social responsibility and cultivate students'skills of"being kind to others"and utilize the theme category of"occupation and environment"to teach the environment-friendly content and cultivate students'mind of"being kind to nature".
