Renewal Strategy of Urban Commercial Corner Space from the Perspective of Phenomenology: Taking Three Gorges Plaza in Chongqing as an Example
At present, traditional commercial pedestrian streets are facing impacts of the upgrading of service functions, the transformation of consumption patterns and the improve-ment of supporting facilities, presenting problems such as poor spatial carrying capacity, lack of spatial vitality and insufficient commercial atmosphere. Taking the Chongq-ing urban improvement action plan as an opportunity, from the perspective of stock transformation, combined with phenomenological urban design theory, the current situa-tion of the commercial corner space of Chongqing Three Gorges Square is investigated, the overall optimization strategy and targeted transformation strategy is proposed, the optimization and upgrading path of the city's tradition-al business district is explored, in order to provide citizens with a better living environment and urban public space.
