Urban Micro-renewal Strategy Guided by Civic Awareness Raising: Taking Heping District in Tianjin as an Example
Literature research and comprehensive analysis methods were adopted, taking Heping District in Tianjin City as the main research area, the urban landscape based on the enhancement of civic awareness was planned and designed in its central area, while guiding urban residents to improve individual civic awareness, corresponding solutions were provided for the existing problems of green spaces in the city center, starting from the princi-ples of inclusiveness, guidance, and standardization, the facilities in the old city center were re-planned by using micro-update design method to solve the problem of aging facilities in old communities.
