Protection and Development of Yanding Village from the Perspective of Cultural Landscape
Yanding Village has four cultural landscape elements of a complementary natural environment, a salt field land-scape that combines heaven and man, village construc-tion that adapts to nature, and an organic evolution of salt production culture. In the context of the deterioration and destruction of the surrounding environment and the threat to the living characteristics of heritage, strategies such as integrating surrounding resources to delineate protected and maintenance areas, improving village facilities and industrial input, continuing the life cycle of salt making technology, establishing brands, and carrying out cultural tourism are proposed to achieve complete protection and live development.
