The Old Daowai Chinese Baroque Historic District is a significant component of Harbin's history and cul-ture. Combined with the current situation and existing problems of the district, the protection and utilization strategies of the historic district are analyzed, to find alternative possibilities for the Old Daowai Chinese Ba-roque Historic District besides the complete relocation and transformation.
