With the intensification of the rural aging process in China,elderly-oriented design has become the focus of academic circles.By analyzing the physiological,psycho-logical and behavior characteristics of the elderly in rural communities,the problems existing in the elderly-oriented design of public facilities in rural communities are pointed out.By introducing the concept of interactive design,el-derly-oriented design strategies of public facilities in rural communities are proposed from three aspects,including perception,behavior and emotion,in order to provide solutions to the problem of urban-rural inversion of aging of population.
