Under the urban renewal trend of improving existing resources,the renovation of old commercial blocks has become an important measure for cities to enhance consumption vitality,promote economic prosperity and promote the redevelopment of the area. Taking Renmin South Business District in Shenzhen as an example,focusing on the spatial renewal of old commercial blocks and the re-matching of consumer demand,combined with the consumption trend in the digital commercial era,how to organically integrate spatial design and consumer ex-perience are deeply discussed around the five key issues and nine spatial dimensions of experiential consumption,in order to activate and revitalize old commercial blocks,and explore the renewal strategy suitable for Renmin South Business District,aiming to provide references for the spatial renewal of other old commercial blocks.
