China's urbanization has gone through a period of rapid construction with large-scale growth,and now the focus of construction has shifted from "quantity" to "quality",focusing on the improvement of urban soft power. Public art,as an important carrier for shaping urban character,showcasing cultural confidence,and enhancing happi-ness index,will inject new momentum into spatial renewal and cultural development. Around the theme of urban streetscape space,the refined and localized improvement in the quality of public art can be achieved by establish-ing the design control system of "graded classification" and "all elements" for public art and integrating local characteristics,combined with innovative exploration in the implementation mechanism,financial funds,regula-tory systems and public participation mechanisms can be established to ensure the improvement of artistic quality in streetscape space,achieving sustainable and normalized updates and improvements.
