Guangzhou First Park is the earliest comprehensive park in the history of Guangzhou,which has been developing for more than one hundred years and has a very important position in the history of modern gardening in China. Its historical development context is clarified,its spatial characteristics are sorted out from the per-spective of plane pattern,through comparative analysis of gardening style of French Le Notre's style and Italian pattern style,proving that its gardening style is French Le Notre's style,combined with Yang Xizong's Beaux-Arts education background,landscape constituent elements are analyzed,explaining that its gardening style has the characteristics of the integration of Chinese and Western cultures,in order to provide a basis for the study of value system and the exploration of protection strategies from the perspective of heritage.
