In the context of urban renewal,non-statutory ancient buildings are facing the dilemma of insufficient protection. Taking Dongguan urban area as an example,the existing problems are summarized in the protection of non-statu-tory ancient buildings,and the protection strategies are proposed of constructing value evaluation system for non-statutory ancient buildings,doing a good job in plan-ning cohesion,establishing multi-channel fund guarantee system,and building full-chain implementation system,in order to provide references for the protection of non-stat-utory ancient buildings in other cities.
