Renewal of Urban Demolition and Detention Area Based on Creating Vitality in Urban Public Space:Taking Demolition and Detention Area of Pengzhuang in Yongdingmen,Beijing as an Example
The vitality of public spaces is a microcosm of urban vital-ity.Improving the environment of demolition and detention areas and reshaping the vitality of existing public spaces are the focus of urban renewal.The current situation of the demolition and detention areas of Pengzhuang in Yongdingmen,Beijing is analyzed,starting from the vital-ity elements of urban public spaces,the regeneration of public space vitality around street and square spaces are explored,reasonable renewal strategies are proposed,in order to provide references for urban renewal of demoli-tion and detention area projects.
