Landscape Design of Railway Station Square in Small-medium City Under the Concept of Organic Renewal:Taking Huai'an Station as an Example
With the trend of urban development in China shifting from incremental construction to stock renewal,the focus of urban construction has shifted to improving the quality and efficiency of stock space. The square in front of train stations in small and medium-sized cities,as an important component of urban stock space in China,is increasingly receiving social atten-tion. The article takes Huai'an Station Square as the research object,analyzes its existing landscape prob-lems,and combines the concept of organic renewal to propose organic renewal strategies for the station square landscape from four different perspectives:functional layout,traffic circulation,spoutial organiza-tion,regiond culture. The aim is to provide theoretical reference for the design of train station squares in other small and medium-sized cities in China.
