Design Exploration of Plant Expo Park Integrating Scientific Research Exhibition and Leisure Activity
Bougainvillea Expo Park is the botanical exhibition park mainly showcasing the Bougainvillea.With the wide application of Bougainvillea in landscaping,the con-struction of Bougainvillea Expo Park is of great signifi-cance in strengthening the preservation of Bougainvillea germplasm resources,promoting the development of Bougainvillea industry,enhancing the cultural connota-tion of the city and promoting regional ecological tour-ism.Based on the research of Bougainvillea Expo Park,the planning and design features integrating scientific research and recreation are proposed.Taking the plan-ning and design practice of Hainan Bougainvillea Expo Park as an example,the planning and design ideas of Bougainvillea Expo Park are put forward from three aspects of cultural presentation,garden application,scientific and technological wisdom of the germplasm resources of Bougainvillea,in order to provide referenc-es for similar projects and future studies.
