With the deepening of urbanization process,China's urban construction has entered the stage of stock improvement and development,and the logic of urban development is undergoing significant changes,imple-menting urban renewal actions will become the main way for future urban development.Based on the case of renewal of Minzhu Village in Chongqing,the importance of goal orientation and value concept in urban renewal are analyzed and emphasized,and then strategies and methods for promoting urban renewal actions are dis-cussed.
