With the development of the times,the elderly pop-ulation's understanding of aging friendly housing is constantly changing.The design of healthy and elderly housing should be based on the characteristics of different eras,combined with the age characteristics and physical conditions of the elderly population,and make varying degrees of technological choices in terms of safety and comfort.Based on this background,the study proposes the renovation of healthy and elderly friendly residential buildings,which is different from the previous renovation of disability friendly and medical spaces.Based on the different physical characteristics and psychological needs of the elderly,targeted and refined design of elderly friendly building renovation is carried out.
