Strategy for Creating Community Canteen Under the Theory of Urban Catalyst:Taking Chongqing Minzhu Village as an Example
In the context of urban renewal,the renovation of old communities have entered the new stage.As an important component of community public space,community canteens play the crucial role in stimulating community vitality and have enormous potential to become the catalyst for the city.Using the theory of urban catalyst,focusing on the community canteen in Minzhu Village in Chongqing,the characteristics of community canteen construction are analyzed from three aspects of providing diversified services,exploring mixed functional experiences and utilizing urban public resources.The existing problems are summarized,optimization design strategies are explored by enhanc-ing functional flexibility,optimizing spatial layout and increasing interactive forms,the catalytic effect is strengthened,to provide references for urban renewal and development as well as community public space construction in China.
