The evolution of street and alley spatial forms in defensive traditional villages is deeply influenced by factors such as natural environment and defensive culture.Taking Xisong-bi Village as an example,examining the evolution process of streets and alleys,analyzing the spatial defense char-acteristics of streets and alleys in Xisongbi Village from four aspects of street level,intersection nodes,street interface and street scale,to explore the spatial layout strategies of traditional villages in response to external threats.
