Protection and Renewal Strategy of Historical and Cultural Block:Taking the Protection Project of Zhongshan Road and its Surrounding Traditional Alleys in Quanzhou City as Examples
As an important component of urban memory and urban space,the overall protection and renewal of historical and cultural blocks are not only conducive to cultural inher-itance,but also help to realize the contemporary value of heritage and drive the sustainable development of cities.Taking the Zhongshan Road Historical and Cultural Block and its surrounding traditional streets and alleys protection project in Quanzhou City as an example,the core concepts and innovative points,summarizes the pro-tection and renewal strategies for historical and cultural blocks are analyzed,in order to provide references for similar projects.
