A Supplementary Research on the Word"()"in Oracle Bone Inscriptions and Other Related Words
The graph"()"in oracle bone inscriptions was often transcribed as zha 栅.This article reviews this transcription from the perspective of graphic form and vocabulary,and believes that the interpretation of zha is not reliable,and should be changed to fan 棥.The graphs"()""()""()"in oracle bone inscriptions should additionally be recognized as variants of fan,and on this basis we can re-read the related oracle inscriptions.
