Comparison of Morphological Characteristics of 8 Species of Ferns Leaf Ppidermis
In this paper, three kinds of Asplenium, a total of 8 species of pteridophytes, two species of Asplenium nidus Onychium and two Pteris upper and lower leaf epidermis morphology were observed and compared the initial, mainly from the leaf epidermis micro morphological characteristics were observed, in-cluding its Stomatal Characters and leaf epidermal cell shape, mainly the production of the fashion plate, and with the help of fiber to observe the temporary mountUB100 I Series type optical microscope; at the same time observation of leaf appendage, leaf epidermis have trichomes and morphology of leaf edge, by direct observation and using XXT-100 ? dissecting microscope were observed with multiple condition. The leaf epidermal features of pteridophytes were observed, can provide theoretical basis for the classifica-tion of ferns. The leaf epidermis micro morphological observation and comparison results show:Asplenium plants are very similar in cell shape and stomatal characteristics, other ferns, cell shape and stomatal char-acteristics of same species of plants are very similar;but 8 kinds of plants in the shape of cells and stomata characteristics there are big difference. At the same time observed Aspleniaceae leaf epidermis of 4 species of plants have a waxy substance, gloss is good and the leaves were thicker, leaf epidermis gloss poor other 4 ferns, hypertrophy leaves nor Aspleniaceae. Therefore, the 8 species of ferns is divided into different genera is the classification results are consistent with the taxonomy. Research also shows that the above characteristics can be as one of the important basis for the classification of the ferns.
