Yi epic Meige is rich in the thoughts of nature worship and totem worship ,which expresses the ancestors of Yi People’s simple ecological philosophical thoughts,that is ,the ideas that man and na-ture should live in harmony. Meanwhile Yi people practice ecological revolution in their production and life in person ,which gives a great enlightenment on the contemporary society in which ecological environments are becoming worse and people’s spiritual beliefs are gradually losing . Meige calls for human-beings to protect the natural environments and animals ,arouses the desire of the human souls“back to one’s origi-nal nature”and weakens one’s desire for materialism and be indifferent to fame in order to look forward to lead a simple,pure,green and healthy life.
