As the fundamental guiding thought of legal construction of socialism with Chinese char-acteristics in the new era,Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law provides theoretical ground,methods,paths and policy guarantee for its integration into university teaching of ideology and politics courses.The practical requirements for such integration include comprehensively learning Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law and its political significance,enhancing our political stance and theoretical willingness to learn Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,understanding the core meaning of Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law,identifying the ideological and political elements in university courses,and using Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law to cultivate legal personnel in the new era.The realization paths to integrate Xi Jinping Thought on the Rule of Law into university ideology and politics courses include:paying attention to needs of the students to ensure popular and easy integration;enriching content dimen-sions to ensure epoch-sensitive integration;and innovating methods to ensure rational integration.
