Mulberry tree core picking is a routine technical measure in mulberry orchard production man-agement.Removing the tender core of new mulberry tree shoots before using leaves for sericulture can in-hibit their upward growth and improve the yield and quality of mulberry leaves to a certain extent.In this article,the application of mulberry core picking technology measures in mulberry production management from two aspects are summarized:the key technical points of mulberry core picking,and the impact of core picking on mulberry yield and quality.Moreover,suggestions are also made for further research on mulberry core picking technology in the future,in order to provide technical reference for the construction of high-yield and high-quality mulberry gardens.
