Application and Analysis of PBL in the Ideological and Political Teaching of Veterinary Immunology
In order to improve the quality and effectiveness of ideological and political education in the Veterinary Immunology,this study focuses on the 2021 undergraduate students majoring in veterinary medicine at the College of Animal Medicine,Southwest University,and introduces Project-based Learning (PBL)as a teaching method,aiming to explore the reform of ideological and political education in the course.The survey results indicate that the majority of students who included in PBL believe that this method not only significantly improves their abilities of comprehension,memory and integration of knowl-edge,but also has significant effects in cultivating good study habits,stimulating learning interests and enthusiasm,enhancing logical thinking abilities,fostering dialectical thinking,promoting innovative con-sciousness,and cultivating students'correct values.The study demonstrates that the application of PBL in the Veterinary Immunology contributes to the improvement of students'comprehensive qualities and the a-chievement of the three-dimensional teaching goals of the course.
