Parthenogenetic Technology was Used to Perform Homozygous Experiments on Fluorescently Labeled Silkworm Breeding Materials
In the selection and purification stage of gene-edited silkworm breeding materials,partheno-genesis induction experiments were carried out on two fluorescently labeled materials by warm soup treat-ment,and a total of 138 effective egg batches were obtained.The frequency of parthenogenesis in different breeding materials was investigated,and the frequency of parthenogenesis in the two materials was be-tween 4.61%~97.06%,among which the frequency of parthenogenesis in HYB-U was higher(78.17%on average),while the frequency of parthenogenesis in C9K-F was lower(40.80%on average).Through the breeding experiment,two parthenogenetic surviving individuals of C9K-F were successfully obtained,which laid an experimental foundation for the subsequent research on the cultivation of gene-edited silk-worm breeding materials and parthenogenesis.
