Benefit evaluation of inter-cropping between trees and grasses in the loess gully-hilly region
In order to evaluate the inter-cropping between trees and grasses conducted in "returning cropland to forest and grassland project" in recent years, the benefit of 5 typical inter-cropping patterns was studied. The results showed that the pattern of inter-cropping between trees and grasses was better for improving ecological environment and promoting income. This pattern combined the ecologic, economic and social benefit together and could change the land use structure, restore vegetation and reduce the soil erosion.
