Application of DNA molecular marker technology in research on forage germplasm resources
The mechanism and characters of DNA molecular marker technologies(RFLP, RAPD, AFLP, SSR,ISSR) were systematically introduced. The application of DNA molecular marker technologies in forage germplasm resources, including the construction of genetic linkage map and gene map, analysis of genetic diversity and relationships, variety identification and purity analysis, accelerate and optimize the breeding process, were rewiewed. The future utilization was discussed as well.
