Application and research of ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and silane coupling agent in textile size
Using INSTRON universal strength instrument,Fourier infrared spectrometer,X-ray diffractometer and other instruments, the timing of adding ammonium dihydrogen phosphate into the blended sizes which composed of starch phosphate and acrylic ester was investigated, and the composition and crystallinity of the sizing films formed from blended sizes treated with the ammonium dihydrogen phosphate and silane coupling agent KH580,and the sizing rates of fabrics, were studied. The experimental results showed that, adding the ammonium dihydrogen phosphate before gelatinization could improve the performance of the blended size better. The ammonium dihydrogen phosphate could reduce the crystallinity of the sizing film, improve the permeability of the sizing film, and increase the strength of the sizing film. The silane coupling agent had a little effect on the strength of the sizing film. And the combined action of the two could enhance the performance of the sizing film.Changing the amount of the silane coupling agent had no obvious effect on the sizing rate, but increasing the amount of the ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, the sizing rate increased.
