Optimization of filtration performance of melt-blown nonwovens for gas filtration
In order to realize the purpose of combining high filtration efficiency and low filtration resistance of melt-blown nonwovens for gas filtration, the effects of average fiber diameter and spatial structure of the materials on the filtration performance were analyzed. It was found that giving the materials smaller average fiber diameter could improve the filtration efficiency, and giving the materials fluffy spatial structure could reduce the filtration resistance. The research results can provide references for the production of melt-blown nonwovens for gas filtration with high efficiency and low resistance.
