Filtration performance of polyphenylene sulfide/polytetrafluoroethylene composite filters with different mass ratios
Polyphenylene sulfide/polytetrafluoroethylene(PPS/PTFE)composite filter is one of the high temperature resistant filters that widely used in electrostatic-fabric integrated precipitator/bag dust collector in coal-fired power plants.Four kinds of PPS/PTFE composite filters with different mass ratios of PPS to PTFE fibers were prepared, and their basic physical properties, surface morphology, mechanical properties, entangling coefficient and filtration performance were tested and analyzed. The results showed that with the increase of PTFE mass fraction, the thickness, permeability and cross direction breaking strength of PPS/PTFE composite filters decreased, while the cross direction breaking elongation increased.Compared with PPS filters, the filtration performance of PPS/PTFE composite filters was improved, and the capture efficiency to fine dust was significantly improved. The research results can provide basis and reference for ultra-low fine dust emission in coal-fired power plants.
