Hot Topics and Development Trends of Art Design Education Research in China in the 21st Century——Bibliometric Visualization Analysis Based on CiteSpace
This study is based on 710 CSSCI journal articles published from 2001 to 2023 included in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI).Using CiteSpace 6.1.R6 software to conduct quantitative visualization analysis of research achievements in art and design education in China in the 21st century,presented and interpreted the distribution characteristics of research achievements,research hotspots,and overall development and evolution trends in this field.The research results indicate that the distribution of research achievements in art and design education in China in the 21st century shows significant policy sensitivity and thematic attention.The results are sourced from authors and institutions that exhibit a loose cooperative network and a clear economic agglomeration distribution structure,and the source of achievements reflects clear disciplinary direction in journals.The research hotspots present a diversified theme development trend from three dimensions:talent cultivation,subject construction,and teaching reform,including innovation and entrepreneurship,subject integration,digital industry integration,cultural empowerment,and digital intelligence integration.The future should promote the research and development of art and design education in China from three aspects:improve policy responsiveness and enhance research results on art and design education themes,reaching a consensus on cooperation in multiple fields and forming a driving force for collaborative research in multiple fields,and comprehensively promote the in-depth development of art and design education research from three dimensions.
