Aspiration and Interest:the Imperial Mind of Emperor Qianlong's Poetry and Prose
Nanjing Museum houses a large number of Qing Gaozong imperial poetry and cultural relics,with a complete range of types,including jade,lacquer,enamel,calligraphy and painting,porcelain,silk fabrics,and more.The imperial poetry and prose of Emperor Qianlong reflect his governing philosophy and artistic appreciation,with extremely high historical document value.The exquisite design of cultural relics is also the exquisite craftsmanship of craftsmen and also has considerable artistic and aesthetic value.This article takes the imperial poetry and prose jade book and fan in the imperial collection as examples to analyze Emperor Qianlong's governing aspirations and literary tastes in the production of such cultural relics,and to analyze the beauty of craftsmanship,thereby highlighting themes of palace design of the imperial court in the prosperous Qing dynasty.
