Embodied Poetics:Experimental Teaching of Interdisciplinary Synesthesia Design Based on Connectivism
This paper introduces the author's explorations in cross-disciplinary and cross-sensory design teaching in recent years.With the pedagogical goal of"embodied empathy"to achieve"poetic experience",the course experiments with how to establish deep connections between different professional backgrounds,fields of knowledge,instrumental paths and organisational styles based on the learning theory of connectivism in the digital age.Experimenting with a new design teaching model centred on knowledge association and organisational synergy,it fosters students'ability to learn with a high degree of autonomy in their cognitive,experiential and design practices.
