A New Judgment on the Aesthetic Value of Design from the Contradiction of Ruskin's Thought
Through the academic ideas expressed in the special exhibition"The Light:From Morris to Mclntosh",this article takes"The Light of Design-From the Arts and Crafts Movement to Modern Design"as the logical direction of thinking,and discusses topics such as the new technological environment in which"art and crafts are remote",the limitations and progressiveness of John Ruskin's artistic ideas,and the similarities in the face of technological changes in different technological environments.We have put forward our own value judgment standards for the future design of the Al era,which will be a flat and symbolic era.We have realized that the true meaning of design aesthetics lies in the experience and understanding of different consumers,and the aesthetic style of design in the Al era is still important.
