This article is based on the archives of the World Expo and related historical materials,exploring the packaging design of Chinese tea that truly represents the characteristics of Chinese tea and the beginning and end of the"display decoration"design that has fallen far behind other countries.Through the use of tea,an important commodity in modern Chinese foreign trade,we can glimpse the conflict and coexistence between new trends and old traditions in the early stages of modern Chinese design,and interpret the new face that design has given to Chinese tea culture.
