This article explores the intersection between traditional Cote d'Ivoire lifestyles and contemporary product design.It is framed within the trend of design focused on enhancing and enriching lifestyle through innovative product creation.By examining the rich cultural heritage of Cote d'Ivoire,particularly in terms of dietary habits and associated objects,we underscore the importance of incorporating traditional values and practices into modern product design processes.Through a combination of cultural analysis,the article emphasizes,on one hand,the need for a paradigm shift towards product design imbued with African philosophy and wisdom.On the other hand,it highlights the importance of embracing indigenous knowledge to foster healthier development of the design industry,thereby strengthening Côte d'Ivoire cultural identity on a global scale.
