The Transformation of Concepts:the Derivation of Speculative Design Thought as an Example
Through the interpretation and combing of design history and the analysis and comparison of typical cases,this paper expounds the concept of suspending reality and fabricating the future as design in critical speculative practice,proving that this change does not symbolize the end of the old era of design or the beginning of a new era.Speculative design is only in the space of contradiction between science and technology and material culture,inheriting the internalized skills and ways of thinking of critical design,creating opportunities for future design innovation.From the critical design creation that abandonsold ethical and social norms,and from the collision of speculative design practice between emerging technology and future ideals,the author tries to actively think about the established role of social life,and shift design thinking to a more design-centered path,so that design can better integrate into the actions that affect the future world.
