Study on the Design Development Trends of Rural Museums Based on CiteSpace Analysis
This study conducts a comprehensive analysis of core journal articles indexed in the China National Knowledge Infrastructure(CNKI)from 2004 to 2024 that contain keywords such as"museum,""museum design,"and"museums in rural revitalization."Using CiteSpace software,the data was cleaned,standardized,and visualized to map the current status,primary research directions,and evolving trends of rural museums.The results indicate that rural museums hold significant development potential in areas such as cultural preservation and transmission,visitor experience and exhibition design,and the application of digital and intelligent technologies.Public participation is becoming a crucial component of rural museum design,enhancing the cultural identity and engagement of local residents and tourists.The design philosophy of rural museums should prioritize human-centered approaches,striving to create more attractive,influential,and vibrant cultural spaces and public service platforms,thereby providing theoretical support and practical guidance for rural revitalization.
