Design and Implementation of Ideological and Political Education in the Course of Engineering Thermodynamics
Based on a careful review of the knowledge objectives of Engineering Thermodynamics,this study delves into the cases of ideological and political education,and determines that the ability objectives and value objectives of the curriculum are patriotism in energy conservation and environmental protection,national pride in professional responsibility,social responsibility in focusing on building a strong country,the life value system that is willing to contribute,and the sense of scientific research pursuit that is brave in exploration.In the instructional design,specific teaching cases are given using the second law of thermody-namics as an example to explain the requirements for achieving the knowledge objectives,ability objectives,and value objectives in detail,which also expound how to design the teaching methods.The teaching results show that adopting such a instructional design can improve students'mastery of knowledge objectives,en-hance their ability objectives,and guide their value objectives,which also provides a basis for the continu-ous improvement of future courses and probably has certain reference value for other science and engineering courses.
